About the Role

As a Public Relations Coordinator, you will play a key role in enhancing the quality of life of individuals with Autism by delivering exceptional communications and marketing strategies.

You will be responsible for creating engaging content that captures and communicates key messages to different audiences. This includes developing internal and external communications specifically for staff and the individuals and families we support.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing communications and multi-media content including blogs, website content, brochures and collateral, newsletters, and more.
  • Producing and publishing content as required across all communication channels.
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders across the organisation.
  • Sourcing and managing multimedia content to enhance our communication strategy.
  • Supporting media engagement and media release development.
  • Edit and proof content to ensure alignment to organisational writing and brand style guides.

About You

We are looking for a public relations specialist who is a creative thinker and has:

  • A tertiary qualification in marketing, public relations, communication, media studies or journalism.
  • A keen eye for detail and excellent research, copywriting, editing and proofreading skills.
  • Self-motivated with a proven ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time efficiently.
  • Experience developing internal and external communications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Campaign Monitor, Wordpress, Salesforce and other related programs.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

To be successful in this role, you'll also need to complete required clearances including a National Police Certificate.
