About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Optical Assistant to join our team in a part-time role.

This is an exciting opportunity to provide exceptional patient care and work with a variety of products in a dynamic and supportive environment.

As an Optical Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient service, assisting with administration duties, and maintaining up-to-date product knowledge.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a customer-centric culture and contribute to the entire patient journey
  • Assist with administration duties including appointment book management, health fund and Medicare claims, and processing of invoices
  • Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and fashion trends
  • Provide exceptional customer service and build strong relationships
Requirements
  • Prior experience in an optical practice would be highly valued
  • A strong focus on customer service and communication skills
  • Great organisational and administrative skills
  • A self-motivated individual with a willingness to learn
