About This Role

We're seeking a customer-focused individual to fill the position of Service Coordinator at our Clayton branch. Reporting directly to the Service Supervisor, this challenging front-line role suits someone looking to advance their career as a leader within our team.

A background in mechanical trades is preferred due to the requirement to address technical inquiries from customers and service technicians.

A Day in the Life

  • Booking and scheduling work in progress
  • Liaising with customers throughout machine repairs
  • Providing clear, accurate, and timely information for machine repairs and Used Equipment build-ups
  • Preparing quotations following inspection work
  • Managing invoices to ensure pricing and product/machine component details are clear
  • Fostering effective collaboration with other departments to deliver seamless solutions

About You

You'll leverage your knowledge gained from a mechanical trade background and pride yourself on delivering exceptional customer service and organisational skills.

To excel in this role, you'll require:

  • Developing and maintaining long-term internal and external relationships
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Operational experience within the heavy mechanical industry
  • A strong commitment to safety, health, and environment procedures
