About the Opportunity
Bupa is seeking a highly skilled Senior Physiotherapist to join our team at Robertson Health Centre in Darwin, Northern Territory. This role presents an exciting opportunity to lead and mentor our physiotherapy department, providing high-quality services to Defence personnel.
About the Role
- This is an initial casual role with the potential to become a full-time permanent position in early 2024.
As a key member of the management team, you will balance clinical and administrative responsibilities, including:
- Providing evidence-based practice physiotherapy assessments, treatments, and rehabilitative services to Defence personnel.
- Undertaking supervisory and management functions to ensure the provision of high-quality physiotherapy services.
This is an incredible opportunity for a clinician to focus on mentorship, clinical leadership, and continuous improvement while making a real contribution to the provision of health services to Defence Force members.
About You
Please note that you must be an Australian citizen and able to attain and maintain a baseline security clearance from the Defence Security and Vetting Service.
- We're looking for someone with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A strong ability to work well with both people and details, as this role involves interactions with clinical and non-clinical team members, legislative frameworks, nuanced processes, and compliance activity.
- Strong management skills, including leadership and conflict resolution.
- A genuine commitment to mentoring, leading, and growing internal talent, championing a meaningful career pathway for our clinicians.
You will also require:
- Current unconditional and unrestricted registration with AHPRA.
- A minimum of 5 years of full-time postgraduate musculoskeletal experience in an accredited physiotherapy environment (or part-time equivalent).
- A minimum of 2 years of full-time postgraduate musculoskeletal experience within the last 5 years in an accredited physiotherapy environment (or part-time equivalent).
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification.
