At Mercedes-Benz Australia Pacific, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Training Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a market-leading organization in the automotive sector.

About the Role

This full-time permanent position is based at our Head Office in Mulgrave, Victoria, and involves delivering Face-to-Face and Virtual Classroom training to our Retailer network.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and delivering engaging training programs, reviewing and adapting training materials, and managing the Training Centre and facility to ensure all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and deliver high-quality training programs across various portfolios, including Technical, Non-Technical, and Process & Systems.
  • Review and adapt training materials to suit the Australian/New Zealand market.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Training Centre and facility, ensuring all HSE requirements are met.
  • Participate in Train-the-Trainer events to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Maintain Training Academy tooling, fleet, and equipment to ensure a high-quality training experience for learners.
  • Provide support to the Training Academy team as needed.

This role may require occasional domestic and international travel.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant automotive trade qualification, such as a certified mechanic or technician, with a demonstrated history of working in the automotive sector.
  • Experience with Mercedes-Benz products is desirable.
  • A passion for personal development and learning.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and good decision-making ability.
  • Ability to work autonomously with the support of your team.
  • Advanced knowledge of office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as access to discounted car leasing programs, on-site parking, employee assistance programs, and more.
