We are looking for a skilled professional to fill the role of Principal Support Engineer. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with Postgres databases, provide expert guidance and support to clients, and be part of a dynamic team.

About the Role:

  • Maintain and manage Postgres databases to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Leverage expertise in technical leadership and customer support to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices in customer support.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple open issues simultaneously, demonstrating exceptional problem-solving skills.
  • Design and implement effective solutions for complex technical challenges.
  • Represent the company's values and standards in all interactions with customers and stakeholders.

What You Will Bring:

  • 10+ years of experience in data warehousing solutions, with a strong emphasis on Greenplum.
  • In-depth knowledge of Greenplum's parallel processing and integration with big data frameworks like Hadoop.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and analytical query design.
  • Experience with Kubernetes architecture, including nodes, pods, services, deployments, and YAML files.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, PowerShell, and YAML.
  • Programming experience in C, C++, Java, or .Net.
  • Strong experience in cloud service environments, including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Red Hat Openshift for database solutions.
  • Ability to mentor junior and mid-level technical support engineers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.

  • OpenShift Administrator certification.
  • Working knowledge of deployment/development on AI/ML applications and GenAI skills.
