Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and enthusiastic fitness professional to join our team. As a Casual Fitness Instructor, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality fitness classes to our community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver engaging land-based and aquatic fitness classes tailored to all fitness levels.
  • Assist customers with membership sign-ups and inductions.
  • Provide guidance and feedback to ensure safe equipment use.
  • Offer quality customer service to all members and casual users.
  • Set up and pack down equipment for classes.
  • Help promote our facilities to prospective members and engage current members in retention activities.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of gym equipment and the facility.
  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, safety, and security within the facility.
  • Participate in regular training sessions and staff meetings.
  • Adhere to our policies and procedures.
  • Stay current with relevant qualifications.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Certificate III or IV in Fitness or equivalent qualification.
  • Current CPR Certificate or proof of enrollment.
  • Current First Aid Certificate or proof of enrollment.
  • NSW Working With Children Check Clearance.
  • Qualifications in Yoga, Pilates, and/or Aqua Aerobics (desirable).
