Membership Services Representative Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our team as a Membership Services Representative. As a key member of our front desk, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for every member who visits our facility.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide welcoming greetings to members and guests, setting the tone for their fitness journey
  • Monitor club access and ensure a safe and secure environment for all members
  • Handle questions and complaints efficiently and effectively, demonstrating a proactive approach to resolving issues
  • Clearly explain our unique value proposition to new members
  • Answer calls and take messages promptly, providing excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Conduct engaging club tours, showcasing our facilities and services, and highlighting the benefits of membership
  • Sell memberships and process data entry with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Operate the Point-of-Sale system, collect balances, and maintain accurate records
  • Schedule PE sessions and manage front desk operations, maintaining a clean and organized environment
  • Perform regular club walk-arounds and restock equipment, ensuring a high level of cleanliness and maintenance
  • Support new team members during their onboarding process, promoting a culture of collaboration and teamwork

Requirements:

  • Certificate 3 in Fitness is highly desirable, although not essential
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain
  • Working with Children (WWC) certificate/number for NSW & VIC, Blue Card for QLD
  • Recent National Police Check (within 12 months)
