Premier Facilities Leader

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager to lead our engineering team in ensuring the hotel's facilities and equipment are in optimal working condition.
- The ideal candidate will have advanced vocational training plus two years of experience in general building maintenance or construction, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
As part of our pre-opening team, you will play a key role in preparing the hotel for its grand opening. Your daily responsibilities may include:
- Conducting thorough facilities inspections to identify any defects or issues with plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, FF&E, and other equipment.
- Overseeing the procurement of necessary hotel equipment and machinery and ensuring all installations are completed before the hotel opens.
- Collaborating with contractors and vendors to develop and maintain maintenance agreements and good working relationships for the ongoing needs of the hotel.
- Developing and implementing a preventative maintenance program to create a safe, secure, and comfortable environment for our guests.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Advanced vocational training plus two years of experience in general building maintenance or construction, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Professional certification and license if required by law.
- Hotel experience preferred.
- A demonstrated ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and manage competing priorities.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for developing your team.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to explore new ways of working.
