Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team as a lead clinician. In this role, you will provide high-quality occupational therapy services to our clients, working collaboratively with their care teams to assess, set goals, develop solutions, and evaluate client outcomes.

You will be responsible for identifying and leading clinical and business-related continuous improvement activities, contributing to the achievement of the company's vision and purpose. You will also provide mentorship and supervision to junior therapy staff, helping them develop their skills and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality occupational therapy services to clients, including assessment, goal setting, intervention planning, and evaluation
  • Lead clinical and business-related continuous improvement activities, identifying areas for growth and implementing change
  • Mentor and supervise junior therapy staff, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and knowledge
  • Contribute to the development of therapy service provision, ensuring evidence-informed practice, professional development, and knowledge translation across the team
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in occupational therapy, with a focus on complex clients and situations
  • The ability to work effectively within a team and autonomously
  • Strong assessment, occupational analysis, goal-setting, and intervention planning skills
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to coordinate an assigned caseload and company commitments
  • Demonstrated effective and professional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • A strong understanding of the NDIS and its application in occupational therapy
