Occupational Therapy Educator Position

The Occupational Therapy Educator position has been established to strengthen opportunities for learning, teaching, research and growth of student occupational therapists within clinical practice.
This role aims to ensure student placements are delivered to meet targets, while providing diverse and comprehensive learning opportunities for students.
- Coordinate teaching by occupational therapists into the Swinburne's Masters of Occupational Therapy program.
- Ensure education delivered is up to date, clinically relevant, professional and meets the expectations of our university partners.
- Contribute to the delivery of education and support more broadly across the organisation within a multidisciplinary and inter-professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strong and effective leadership in the area of Allied Health Clinical Education.
- Work collaboratively with Occupational Therapy leadership at SVHM and Swinburne University to further develop Occupational Therapy Clinical Education.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or Master of Occupational Therapy (Prac)
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Minimum of ten (10) years post-graduate experience and a strong interest in mental health and wellbeing
