Logistics Service Manager Job

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Service Manager to lead and support a high-performing team. This pivotal leadership role oversees daily logistics operations, drives process improvements, and ensures optimal service delivery across all transport activities.

About the Role
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team responsible for transport coordination, customer service, and operational support.
  • Oversee and continuously improve the planning, scheduling, and execution of freight movements to ensure on-time delivery and service excellence.
  • Foster strong customer relationships by managing escalations, ensuring timely issue resolution, and upholding service standards aligned with company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage team performance and operational workflows.
  2. Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  3. Monitor operational KPIs, ensure compliance with safety, quality, and service requirements, and implement corrective actions where necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven leadership experience in a transport and logistics environment.
  • Strong knowledge of transport systems (TMS), freight coordination, and metro area logistics.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, reporting tools, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
