Key Role in Freight Logistics

Our business is seeking a motivated and experienced Forklift Operator to join our Toowoomba depot team.

In this key role, you will be responsible for safely moving freight, with a focus on efficiently unloading trailers. This opportunity is ideal for individuals with proven experience in loading multiple trailers, who are looking for a Full-Time Permanent position with job security in a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Efficiently load general freight from body trucks and trailers

Work Monday to Friday on the night shift with a start time between 9:30pm - 5:06am

Ensure trailers are maximised for linehaul transportation

Ensure Strapping and securing freight trailers is done correctly and safely

Follow a postcode sheet to place unloaded freight into the correct bays

Maintain a steady work pace to meet departure times and maintain accuracy

Adhere to established safety standards and guidelines

Requirements:

Current forklift license

Previous experience in a similar, fast-paced role

Ability to maximise trailers to full utilisation

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow a postcode sheet for correct freight placement

Ability to pass a criminal history check
