Senior Manager Finance

We are seeking a skilled finance professional to lead our financial operations and drive organisational performance. As a Senior Manager Finance, you will be responsible for developing and implementing financial budgets, forecasts and reports that reflect the organisation's goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the organisation's vision and objectives.
  • Lead and manage a high-performing finance team to deliver exceptional financial support and services.
  • Design and oversee the implementation of standardised financial practices, systems and procedures to optimise efficiency and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis to key stakeholders, including the Executive and funding bodies.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Professional accounting qualifications (CPA/CA) with a degree in accounting, finance or a related discipline.
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of Australian accounting standards.
  • Demonstrated experience in finance leadership roles, including strategic planning and team management.
  • Experience in financial operations: month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, cashflow management, FBT and statutory compliance.
  • Community services sector experience is highly regarded but not essential.
