Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:
  • Organise and coordinate patient appointment activities, ensuring smooth clinic operations and effective communication with patients and other services.
  • Perform reporting functions, including bulk billing and management of clinic waiting lists.
  • Book appointments, cancel and re-book outpatients and clinics on the outpatient system, arranging transportation and follow-up appointments as needed.
  • Prepare electronic and manual medical records for new and review patients, sorting and distributing patient results according to unit practices.
  • Manage wait lists and booking for procedures/appointments, cancelling, rescheduling and removing patients from the list using relevant information systems.
Requirements:

The successful applicant will have excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
