Job Description

Deliver high-quality vascular duplex ultrasound and other non-invasive physiological vascular investigations to stakeholders. Work in a multidisciplinary team and at the service level, providing clinical leadership. The Sunshine Coast Health region is located in southeast Queensland, extending through coastal and hinterland areas.

Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet clinical demand, as outlined in the Clinical Prioritisation Document. Staff may be required to work across various clinical services and facilities within the health service to assist in meeting patient care needs, managing leave cover, and succession planning of staff.

Rotate across different areas of the SCHHS as per Allied Health Rotation Guidelines. Key responsibilities include performing a range of venous and arterial duplex ultrasound and functional vascular investigations for inpatient and outpatient studies.

Utilise professional judgement and problem-solving skills to deliver evidence-based clinical practice for routine to complex cases with a high degree of independence. This role requires a high level of clinical knowledge, skills, and expertise to undertake the full range of vascular ultrasound examinations.
