About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team of mobile clinicians as a Speech Pathologist, providing assessment and intervention services for adults with communication and swallowing difficulties.

  • Assess and diagnose clients' swallowing and communication difficulties, developing effective strategies to improve their quality of life.
  • Manage your calendar of appointments, choosing work hours and locations that suit you, allowing for flexibility and autonomy in your role.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Potential national travel to support clients in regional locations, providing vital services to those in need.
  • Providing telehealth-based dysphagia and/or communication assessment and intervention, leveraging technology to enhance client care.
  • Liaising with our close-knit national team of Speech Pathologists, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Advocating for clients with communication difficulties, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs are met.
  • Working closely with organisational staff, support coordinators, and colleagues to ensure optimum care needs are met, promoting a culture of teamwork and cooperation.
  • Providing consultative and educational support to clients, their families, and colleagues, empowering them with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed.
