Early in Life Mental Health Services (ELMHS) provides assessment and treatment for infants, children, adolescents, young people and their families. We work with the 0-18 age in the Southern Region. We provide a comprehensive assessment service and a range of treatment options including inpatient treatment in times of crisis, community (outpatient) treatment, group programs, family therapy, and specialist services.
**Intensive Mobile Outreach Stream
- (IMOS)** provides treatment for referrals received by our service. We work with families in addressing a number of complex issues that families may be experiencing including school refusal, parent/child relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, trauma related issues, self-harm, suicidal thinking and eating disorders, who may have difficulties engaging in clinic based treatment and require outreach model of treatment.
**A day in the life**
No two days will be the same as you work within an established, friendly and supportive team environment, working closely together to care for young people along with providing opportunities for staff development and growth in areas that staff are passionate about. We are a tight knit team who are collaborative and support one another and value all of our staff. We offer clinical education sessions, training on the job and career progression to enable you to further develop your Clinical and Leadership skills. This position will suit an individual who enjoys working collaboratively with families/carers and other significant supports of the young person, to address their identified areas of concern. This is a fast paced team that thrives on multidisciplinary team involvement.
T**he key components of the role include**:
- Intensive care coordination for a specific case load of young clients aged up to 18 years
- Working collaboratively as a member of the IMOS multidisciplinary team and sharing team duties
- Assessing and treating young people with mental health problems - working within individual, group, and family contexts in both an intensive outreach and clinic-based capacity
- Provision of therapeutic support to the 'system' around the young person in a collaborative and reflective partnership with other involved agencies
This is a **full-time** position; several positions available. The position is based in Dandenong, but you will be required to travel within the Monash Health catchment area to provide outreach treatment to our client group. The core business hours of this team are 8.30 -5.00pm. Part

**This is a Grade 2/ Grade 3 positions, and depending on the applicant's level of experience and skill level, the applicant will be recruited to the appropriate grading level - as per the professional discipline employee bargaining agreement (EBA).**
