Compounding Assistant/Technician Job Description\

Our company is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Compounding Assistant/Technician to join our production team. This role will support the manufacture of chemotherapy, antibiotics, and nutritional products for hospitals throughout Australia.

As a Compounding Assistant/Technician, you will work in a cleanroom environment, picking and preparing raw materials, aseptically compounding sterile solutions, packing finished units for each order, and ensuring documentation is completed in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).

\

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pick and prepare raw materials for aseptic production\
  • Aseptically compound sterile solutions according to GMP guidelines\
  • Pack finished units for each order\
  • Ensure accurate and complete documentation\
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace\
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve production goals\
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to improve skills and knowledge\
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures\
  • Perform other related duties as required\

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent\
  • Completion of a relevant training program or certification in pharmacy, manufacturing, or a related field\
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role\
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions\
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills\
  • Ability to lift up to 25 kg and stand for extended periods\
  • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines\
  • Basic math skills and ability to perform calculations accurately\
