Key Facilities Operations Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee the management and maintenance of assigned buildings.

Job Description:

As a key facilities operations specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective, efficient, and safe operation of our assigned buildings. This includes managing relationships with tenants, service providers, and contractors, as well as coordinating and implementing FM projects works in a timely manner and to project standard.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record within facilities management, a working knowledge of commercial building operations, and the ability to effectively utilise energy, water, and waste resources. Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills, good written and verbal communication, and strong customer focus are also essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain relationships with tenants to ensure customer-focused FM services
  • Manage service providers and contractors to implement approved works according to established service level agreements
  • Ensure the delivery of sustainability outcomes, including WHS&E 5-star accreditation, and energy, water, and waste minimisation
  • Assist in the review and delivery of all works relating to 'tenant fit outs' in accordance with approved plans and statutory requirements
Requirements:
  • Proven experience within facilities management
  • Working knowledge of commercial building operations and the different types of maintenance
  • Knowledge of the effective utilisation of energy, water and waste
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Strong customer focus - service orientated
