We are seeking a skilled Behavioural Support Practitioner to join our team at The Benevolent Society. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities, working collaboratively with Allied Health Professionals to develop and implement personalized support plans.

About the Role

This role requires you to be registered with the NDIS as a Registered Behavioural Support Practitioner at a Core or Proficient level. As a Behavioural Support Practitioner, you will work closely with clients, their families, and other stakeholders to create effective support plans that empower individuals to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop innovative behavioural assessments and support plans that cater to the unique needs of each client.
  • Facilitate seamless communication between clients, agencies, and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive support.
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions to drive progress and empowerment for individuals.
  • Uphold NDIS standards, fostering trust and collaboration with key stakeholders.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A current registration to practice as a Core or Proficient Behaviour Support Practitioner with the NDIS.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in behaviour support intervention and the development of behaviour support plans.
  • Strong analytical and report writing skills, with the ability to provide a service based on a client's NDIS goals and funding allocation.
  • An ability to respond to the needs of people of all abilities and cultural backgrounds, with excellent interpersonal communication skills.
