Job Overview

The Regular Giving Coordinator plays a vital role in strengthening relationships between supporters and the children they sponsor.

This includes delivering key communications to enhance the Child Sponsorship experience, improve donor retention, and make donors feel informed, appreciated, and inspired by the difference they're making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the end-to-end process of Child Sponsorship Letter Writing, facilitating heartfelt exchanges between Sponsors and the children they support.
  • Lead the coordination and delivery of Annual Progress Reports, providing Sponsors with tangible updates on the growth and development of the children and communities they support.
Requirements

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in an administration role.
  • Experience working with databases or CRM systems.
  • Demonstrated skills in attention to detail, accuracy, and quality.
  • A proven ability to be self-directed, organized, take initiative, and work to deadlines in a professional and confident manner.
  • Proven ability to maintain good stakeholder relationships.
  • A learning mindset with a commitment to bringing best-practice in fundraising.
  • A passion for making donors' experience supporting Baptist World Aid the best it can be.

Desirable Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Some experience working in fundraising and/or retention marketing roles.
  • Experience working in a not-for-profit environment.
  • Technical aptitude and a proven interest in improving processes and systems.
  • A demonstrated ability to supervise and motivate volunteers.
  • An understanding of Christian principles in development.
