**Job Description and Responsibilities:**

  • Plan, coordinate and execute detailed phases of HVAC and plumbing design work.
  • Develop mechanical construction and equipment specifications.
  • Evaluate, select and apply standard techniques and criteria.
  • Perform engineering quality assurance checks on project designs.
  • Support new project proposals with mechanical discipline scopes and schedules.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor of Sciences in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited program.
  • Professional Engineer License is required.
  • Experience in HVAC and plumbing/piping systems design and associated engineering calculations.
  • Experience sizing and selecting HVAC and plumbing/piping equipment.
  • Proficient in editing and writing mechanical construction and equipment specifications.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, experience using HVAC computer load and design programs.
  • Working knowledge of ASHRAE, SMACNA and NFPA standards.
  • Current passport.
  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • Active Secret clearance required with eligibility to obtain Top Secret with SCI.
