Job Title

Our organisation seeks an experienced professional to join our team as Assistant Director Engagement and Outreach.

This role requires managing key stakeholder relationships to promote our initiatives and programs, driving communication and engagement activities, developing a strong understanding of stakeholders and their expectations, and contributing to the Strategic Engagement and Communication Plan.

Job Responsibilities
  • Exercise leadership skills, working across teams to drive communication and engagement activities.
  • Develop a strong understanding of stakeholders and their expectations.
  • Have in-depth knowledge of communication and stakeholder functions, playing a key role in developing and implementing the Strategic Engagement and Communication Plan.
  • Engage in complex problem solving and manage stakeholder relationships in a fast-paced environment.
Key Qualifications
  • A strategic understanding of communication and engagement activities' impact on ASCA and Defence.
  • Proven ability to engage and manage stakeholder relationships across diverse networks, communicate effectively, and deliver program outcomes.
  • Experience in developing and implementing engagement and outreach activities that achieve program objectives.
  • Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills, including strategic thinking, dynamic work environments, and effective problem solving.
  • Exceptional management skills, with the ability to manage multiple activities/projects simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to build networks and collaborate across teams and stakeholders.
  • Self-driven and outcome-focused, with excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
