People and Culture Leader

This is a senior role that requires a true generalist with demonstrated expertise in attraction, selection and recruitment, remuneration, benefits & payroll, learning and development, employee and industrial relations, and employee wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the end-to-end employee lifecycle, including attraction, selection and recruitment, performance management, remuneration, benefits & payroll, learning and development, employee and industrial relations, and employee wellbeing.
  • Support business-critical initiatives and foster a positive, high-performance work environment.
  • Provide strategic guidance to senior leaders on People & Culture matters.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • A proven track record of delivering impactful business outcomes through people-focused initiatives.
  • 10+ years of experience in senior People & Culture roles within the mining sector or heavy industry, including leading teams.
  • Strong communication skills, creative problem-solving abilities, and a passion for driving positive organisational change.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with demonstrated experience in change management.
  • A proactive, independent work ethic, capable of working autonomously and taking ownership of projects ensuring delivery.
  • A Bachelor Degree in Human Resources, Psychology or related discipline.
  • A collaborative approach with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels, especially with senior leaders.
