EJE Architecture is a multi-disciplinary design practice providing creative solutions for the built environment. We have a commitment to innovation and design excellence, and an enviable reputation throughout the building industry for our high-level design, strong documentation skills and professional services during construction.

About the role:

Build From a Blank Canvas
Shape and lead the entire people strategy from the ground up. No legacy systems—just a supportive team and a clear mandate to create impact.

What You'll Do

  • Establish and lead the People & Culture function

  • Drive retention, engagement, and cultural alignment

  • Partner with Directors on workforce planning, leadership coaching, and succession

  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance, and compliance

  • Build internal capability through L&D, employee programs, and best-practice systems

What You'll Bring

  • HR qualification and 5 years of generalist experience

  • Strong working knowledge of Australian employment law

  • Confidence in designing and implementing people systems and frameworks

  • A warm, solutions-focused and approachable style

  • Experience in a professional or creative services environment (ideal)
