Our Residential Care Worker role is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable children and young adults. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and support services to young people in our residential care settings.

Job Description:

As a Residential Care Worker, you will be working with young people who require support and guidance to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives. You will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized care plans, monitoring progress, and making adjustments as needed.

You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and supportive environment, building positive relationships with young people, and providing emotional support and guidance when needed.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong understanding of child development and behavior, and a passion for working with young people.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention (Residential and Out of Home Care or other similar qualifications)
  • A genuine interest in young people and their well-being
  • Demonstrate empathy for young people in care in an open-minded and non-judgmental manner
  • Highly developed capacity for emotional self-regulation, including the ability to set and maintain consistent boundaries
