Our Residential Services offer support and accommodation to children and young people who are referred through the Child Protection system. The Residential Care Worker is responsible for providing day-to-day care, responding to emotional and functional needs, and developing personal skills.
The role involves working in a team environment to provide a safe and stable living situation for young people. It requires a genuine interest in young people's wellbeing and the ability to work with them to develop their skills and confidence.
Key Attributes- A Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention or similar tertiary qualifications.
- Highly developed capacity for emotional self-regulation and boundary setting.
- Demonstrate empathy for young people in an open-minded and non-judgmental manner.
