Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the sales and inventory of products including ag chem, fertiliser, and other agricultural merchandise.

Main Objectives:

  • Collaborate with store management, agronomists, and sales teams to provide support such as stock takes, retail operations improvements, on-farm meetings, technical information, and mentoring to enhance performance.
  • Contribute to branch success, manage product offerings, negotiate with suppliers, develop pricing strategies, oversee stock levels, and implement marketing initiatives to maintain competitiveness.
  • Analyze market trends, climatic, and seasonal factors to ensure the company remains the first choice for rural customers in the region.
About You:

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong technical background with experience in a similar position, along with:

  • Experience in pricing, margin management, and achieving sales targets through effective category development.
  • Ability to network and identify opportunities for business growth.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build long-term relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems and strong MS Excel skills for reporting.
  • Current Driver's Licence (Essential).
  • Forklift and heavy rigid licence (Desirable).
