We are seeking an experienced Intermediate Civil Engineer to join our water team. As a key member of the team, you will have expertise in the design engineering of water and wastewater treatment plants, reservoirs, pump stations, and conveyance pipelines.

The successful candidate will review design requirements, conduct site investigations, perform calculations, model scenarios, oversee drafting, and prepare reports and specifications. You will work collaboratively across a multidisciplinary team to deliver projects that transform our world.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and review design requirements for water and wastewater treatment plants, reservoirs, pump stations, and conveyance pipelines.
  • Conduct site investigations to inform design decisions.
  • Perform calculations and modeling to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Oversee drafting and preparation of reports and specifications.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or closely related field.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in water and wastewater treatment and/or conveyance design.
  • Knowledge of safety in design, constructability, and operational practices, as well as relevant Australian standards and codes.
  • Ability to identify project and design-related risks.
  • Experience in managing small to medium engineering design projects.
  • Commitment to working safely and within our HSEQ systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate across a multidisciplinary team.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
