The Opportunity

Seeking an intermediate level Water Planning Engineer with a passion for water and wastewater planning to join our thriving team in Newcastle. This exciting role will involve:

  • Supporting senior engineers in strategic studies, concept design for water and wastewater projects.
  • Hydraulic modeling of water supply and wastewater systems.
  • GIS analysis, cost estimation, and report preparation.
  • Field inspection and condition assessment of water supply, wastewater, and stormwater assets.

About the Role

You will be up for the challenge and enthusiastic about contributing to our Water Planning team. Essential skills include:

  • Civil or environmental engineering degree with high standard results.
  • Knowledge and interest in water and wastewater network planning.
  • Commitment to learn and expand your knowledge of the water industry.
  • Sound reasoning and problem-solving skills.
