A Structural Engineer
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Structural Engineer to join our team. As a Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and developing water and wastewater treatment plants, reservoirs, hydraulic structures, pump stations, and conveyance pipelines.
Key Responsibilities:- Review design requirements and site investigations
- Conduct calculations and modeling
- Oversight of drafting and preparation of reports and specifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil (structural) engineering
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in water and wastewater treatment and/or conveyance design
- Knowledge of safety in design, constructability, and operational practices and relevant Australian standards and WSAA codes
- Knowledge of risk management with the ability to identify project and design-related risks
- Experience in managing small to medium engineering design projects
- A commitment to working safely and within our company's HSEQ systems
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate across a multidisciplinary team
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills to interact with a broad range of audiences
- Ability to travel occasionally as required
