We are seeking a dynamic leader to join our care community as a Wellbeing Manager.

Job Description

The successful candidate will lead the Meaningful Life program, delivering engaging activities and events that promote the physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing of our residents.

This is a leadership role requiring full-time hours, Monday to Friday. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement programs to support residents' physical, emotional and spiritual wellbeing
  • Lead a team of staff to deliver high-quality care and services
  • Collaborate with clinical teams and allied health professionals to provide a holistic approach to resident care
  • Liaise with residents and their families to understand their needs and preferences
  • Coach and mentor staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver exceptional care
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A qualification in a relevant field (e.g. social work, psychology)
  • Experience in a leadership or management role within the aged care sector
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships with residents, families and team members
  • Knowledge of person-centred care principles and practices
