Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to join our team at SAGE Automation. As a key member of our manufacturing operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day function of our production area and ensuring that we provide efficient services to our internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production Performance: Deliver assigned manufacturing tasks concerning production performance and needs.
  • Scheduling and Quality: Schedule jobs and ensure that the quality of production and other deliverables are met.
  • Lean Production Planning: Develop lean production plans to achieve internal and external production requirements and KPIs.
  • Financial Management: Assist project managers for managing the team's budget vs actual performance.
  • Project Support: Support the manufacturing Project Managers within the workshop to align production with project needs.
  • Account Management: Responsible for overall account management and contributing to the local strategy and company culture.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and support the manufacturing team of electricians and trade assistants offering leadership, coaching and mentoring.
  • Facility Maintenance: Ensure that the manufacturing area is kept tidy and organised to promote SAGE Automation as a world-class manufacturing facility.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have extensive proven experience within an electrical manufacturing environment, ideally with switchboard experience. You will also need to have a hands-on approach to take responsibility of the day-to-day operation of the manufacturing facility. Additionally, you will require technical aptitude with the electrical requirements of a working manufacturing facility and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage with stakeholders to elicit and understand their requirements in order to deliver high-quality outcomes.
