Leadership Opportunity in Manufacturing

Implicor is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Plant Manager to lead our multi-site operations in the southern suburbs. As a key member of our Executive Management Team, you will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing division, ensuring effective production, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Oversee the manufacturing division, ensuring effective production through management of labour, productivity, quality control, and safety measures.
  2. Report to the Managing Director and contribute to the development of the company's manufacturing expansion strategy.
  3. Liaise with the MD on capital development requirements and assist with business case preparation.
  4. Investigate and develop advancements in materials handling and composite techniques to introduce improvements.
  5. Implement improved IT systems and processes to automate workflow, including robotics.
  6. Develop and track KPIs to measure performance.
  7. Plan, prioritize, and delegate work tasks to ensure efficient operations.
  8. Manage employee and contractor network requirements to deliver capacity targets.
  9. Cost management and debtor management in cooperation with the Finance team.
  10. Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes, including amendments to Australian Standards.
  11. Provide regular reporting to the Managing Director and Executive Management Team.

Requirements

  1. A degree in manufacturing, business, or engineering is preferred.
  2. Experience with composites is an advantage.
  3. Minimum of 3 years management experience.
  4. Working knowledge and understanding of building and engineering plans.

Essential Skills

  1. Highly attuned written and verbal communication skills.
