Drakes Supermarkets, a leading Australian retail chain, is seeking a highly skilled Retail Bakery Team Lead to join our Samford store. As a key member of our bakery team, you will play a crucial role in driving business success and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and mentor a team of bakers to achieve sales targets and maintain high-quality standards.
- Develop and implement effective ordering and inventory management strategies to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
- Collaborate with the management team to drive business growth, improve profitability, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and product knowledge to provide expert advice to customers.
- 3+ years of experience in a bakery or retail environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, achieving sales targets and exceeding customer expectations.
- Strong understanding of fresh food retail operations, including inventory management, ordering, and cost control.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.

- An attractive salary package, estimated around $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
