Salary RangeWe offer a competitive salary package, estimated to be between $70,000 to $100,000 per annum, depending on experience.
About the RoleWe are seeking a motivated and hardworking leader to join our Samford store in North Brisbane as a Meat Department Supervisor. Reporting directly to the Store Manager, you will be responsible for managing a small team, creating rosters, generating orders, and ensuring the efficient operation of the meat department.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
- Create effective rosters to ensure adequate staffing levels and minimize labor costs.
- Order and control costs to maximize gross profit margins.
- Develop and implement merchandising strategies to drive sales growth.
- Coach, train, and performance manage teams to improve their skills and knowledge.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- An Australian trade qualification in Butchery (essential).
- Fresh food retail knowledge and experience.
- Strong leadership and delegation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
