Job Summary

Role Description: As a rehabilitation specialist, you will collaborate with individuals who have suffered injuries to facilitate their recovery and return to work or daily life. Your duties will involve conducting assessments, case management services, and delivering counseling to help clients adapt to changes in their career goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist injured individuals with their recovery, return to work, and life following injury or illness;
  • Conduct a range of assessments and case management services across various customer portfolios;
  • Deliver counseling to people adapting to sudden career changes;
  • Support individuals in recovering and returning to their pre-injury or new employment using clinical skills and knowledge;
  • Interact and build relationships with health professionals, specialists, employers, insurers, and other key stakeholders to drive positive outcomes for clients.

Requirements:

  • Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, or Exercise Physiologist (with relevant membership);
  • Current Police Clearance and Working with Children Check;
  • Occupational Rehabilitation experience is highly desirable but not essential as full training will be provided;
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
  • Excellent time management, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities;
  • Honesty, integrity, a good team attitude, and positive approach;
