We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Caseworker to join our team at Relationships Australia New South Wales. As a key member of our Safer Pathways program, you will play a pivotal role in supporting male victims of Domestic and Family Violence (DFV).
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver critical phone-based support to male victims of DFV, conducting thorough safety assessments and responding to urgent client needs.
- Connect individuals with key services, working closely with referrals from the NSW Police and Justice Department.
- Establish trust and rapport with clients, ensuring each receives the care and guidance they need in a high-volume environment.
- Demonstrated experience working with victim survivors of Domestic & Family Violence.
- Proficiency in conducting comprehensive assessments and effective case management.
- Strong knowledge of the local service system and ability to facilitate effective referrals.
- Proven experience establishing and maintaining effective partnerships and working collaboratively with other organisations.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in community development, social work, social welfare, health promotion or similar field and/or relevant experience.
- A chance to make a genuine difference to the lives of individuals affected by Family, Domestic & Sexual Violence.
