Senior Accountant Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Senior Accountant to join our team in South Melbourne. In this role, you will act as a Client Services Manager, responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and providing essential accounting support.

About the Job:

  • As a Senior Accountant, you will provide financial analysis, tax planning, and business consulting services to identify opportunities for growth and optimisation.
  • You will prepare financial statements, tax returns, and compliance documents, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulations.
  • Our ideal candidate will have experience in accounting, taxation, and advisory services, with knowledge of Australian taxation laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Client Support: Manage a portfolio of clients by providing essential accounting, taxation, and advisory services.
  • Financial Analysis: Perform financial analysis, tax planning, and business consulting to identify opportunities for growth and optimisation.
  • Compliance: Prepare financial statements, tax returns, and compliance documents, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulations.
  • Business Development: Assist in business development efforts by expanding services within existing client relationships and supporting new client acquisition.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience in accounting, taxation, and advisory services.
  • Knowledge of Australian taxation laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
