Job Title: Workplace Health

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated professional to join our team as a Workplace Health Coordinator. In this challenging role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the health and safety of our employees and clients.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of workplace health and safety principles and practices, with a proven track record of implementing effective safety programs. A Bachelor's degree or postgraduate diploma in a related field is essential, along with at least 9 years of experience in heavy construction.

In this dynamic project environment, you will work closely with our team members to drive a goal of zero accidents across the project. Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring and reporting on workplace health and safety management programs.
  • Providing technical support to WHS issues and assessments.
  • Integrating WHS requirements into project planning, design criteria, construction plans, and specifications.
  • Assisting project and construction management in implementing and complying with project WHS requirements.
  • Coordinating technical assistance to other project-assigned functional leads.

Required qualifications and experience include:

  • Working knowledge of WHS work practices and experience in conducting incident investigations, compliance audits, and project health surveys.
  • Bachelor's degree or postgraduate diploma in WHS/management or related science/engineering area.
  • Minimum 9 years of WHS professional experience in heavy construction.
  • Knowledge of WHS management, monitoring programs, principles, and methodologies.

As a Workplace Health Coordinator, you will be responsible for promoting a culture of health and safety within our organization. You will need to be proficient in written and oral communication in English, and have experience of incident investigation techniques (e.g., ICAM or TapRoot Certification).
