As a key player in shaping the future of transportation, we are seeking an Electrical Power Systems Expert to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact AC/DC rail electrification projects, supporting clients across the full asset lifecycle from strategic planning to delivery.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Design and coordinate traction power systems and infrastructure
  • Prepare and review technical reports, feasibility studies, and protection studies
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships
  • Engage in AC/DC traction electrification design and substation design
  • Mentor junior engineers and manage design packages and teams
  • Contribute to tender proposals and understand client requirements
  • Apply HV/LV earth grid design principles and safety standards
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics or Power Engineering
  • Minimum 6 years' experience in detailed traction power supply engineering design
  • Strong background in High Voltage and Low Voltage systems, including earth grid design
  • Experience with Sydney Trains and/or Transport for NSW projects
  • Proficiency in software such as PSCAD, MATLAB, ETAP, DiaLux, Opentrak, OpenPowerNet (preferred)
  • In-depth knowledge of IEC/EN/ASA/AS/AMB standards
  • Site exposure on traction electrification works (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage scope effectively
