About the role

Using your electrical power engineering knowledge, you will become a technical expert in and work towards innovating our world-leading software products -

You should have sound technical knowledge and be someone who finds working for a company building the latest Power Systems Design & Analysis Software exciting.

This is not an average (boring) corporate job where you will do "cookie-cutter electrical designs." Working for us, you will be interested and challenged; every day will be different, and your ideas will be transformed into industry-leading software products. *You will be mentored and trained.

Duties/responsibilities

  • Manage and contribute to software development projects.
  • Implement electrical power engineering calculations.
  • Develop complex electrical engineering software algorithms.
  • Support the research and development team members.
  • Develop software documentation.
  • Develop and/or contribute to technical publications.

Required Skills

  • Electrical Engineering degree.
  • Post-graduate studies (Masters or PhD) in Electrical Power Engineering are preferred.
  • Knowledge of electrical power calculations.
  • Electrical design engineering projects experience is highly regarded.
  • Programming experience is highly regarded but optional.
  • Experience writing technical documents, for example, a thesis.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products.
  • Good phone communication skills.
  • Ability to interact well with people and customers.
