Job Description">

We are seeking a highly skilled engineer to join our team in the development of advanced power systems. As a Senior Power Systems Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, implementation and maintenance of complex energy networks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead projects in the ADMS portfolio and serve as technical support expert
  • Support the implementation of control systems at electric utilities
  • Participate in the design, planning and execution of ADMS projects
  • Support testing events with customers
  • Work closely with functional development teams to troubleshoot, prioritize and test product changes
  • Interface with utilities Geographic Information System (GIS) teams to extract, translate and load the electrical network model to the Distribution Management System
  • Interface with utilities Customer Information System (CIS) teams to extract, translate and load the customer model to the Outage Management System
  • Configure and integrate software components to meet contract requirement specifications and test with customers
  • Support training customers on how to operate the systems being delivered
  • Provide technical support to troubleshoot and resolve issues observed on live systems
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; degree in Electrical Engineering, Power System Engineering or related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Power System Engineering role including Outage Management System and Switch Order Management Application Engineering role
  • Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex systems issues in software applications
  • Knowledge of system designs, computer systems, engineering practices and control systems
  • Understanding of Electric Distribution Power Systems and modeling is preferred (Load Flow Studies, FLISR and VVC/VVO)
  • Familiarity with electric utilities operations and regulatory requirements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Effectively manage time and context switch between multiple competing tasks
