Power System Engineer Opportunity

As a power system engineer, you will play a key role in helping industries meet the increasing demand for resources from a rapidly growing population.

The Role

This position gives you broad exposure to our digital grid management software suite, including advanced applications such as distribution power flow (DPF), fault location isolation and service restoration (FLISR), volt/volt control and optimization (VVC/VVO), outage management systems (OMS) and switch order management (SOM).

With this opportunity, you will lead projects in the ADMS portfolio and serve as a technical support expert, providing critical support during testing events with customers.

Our team works closely with functional development teams to troubleshoot, prioritize and test product changes, ensuring seamless integration of software components to meet contract requirements.

Additionally, you will support training customers on system operation and provide technical support to resolve live system issues.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; electrical engineering or power system engineering preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in power system engineering, including outage management and switch order management application engineering
  • Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting complex systems issues
  • Knowledge of system designs, computer systems, engineering practices and control systems
  • Understanding of electric distribution power systems and modeling
  • Familiarity with electric utilities operations and regulatory requirements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective time management and multitasking
