At Slalom, we're on a mission to empower individuals and organisations to drive meaningful impact through the strategic use of data and analytics. As our Director of Analytics and Insights, you'll play a pivotal role in setting the tone for our Data & Analytics practice.

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced leader with a strong consulting background and a proven track record in driving growth, innovation, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in consulting management, preferably in data and analytics strategy, architecture, and solution delivery. You'll be responsible for overseeing the overall growth of the practice area, building and developing relationships with clients, and providing thought leadership on industry trends and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive business development and sales within the Data & Analytics practice, leveraging your expertise in data strategy, architecture, and solution delivery to win new clients and projects.
  • Build and develop relationships with key stakeholders, including senior-level client executives, technology partners, and local market teams.
  • Provide oversight and governance of all sold and managed Data & Analytics projects, ensuring timely delivery, high-quality results, and excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Identify opportunities for growth and maturation of Data & Analytics offerings, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that meet client needs.

Requirements

  • 14+ years of consulting experience, preferably in data and analytics strategy, architecture, and solution delivery.
  • P&L experience from a comparably sized consulting firm, demonstrating a strong understanding of financial management and business operations.
  • Broad data and analytics experiences across data strategy, data architecture, data governance, visualizations, AI/ML, legacy data platforms, and modern cloud data stacks.
  • Deep expertise in defining, architecting, and delivering modern cloud data stack-based data and analytical solutions on AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud, as well as Snowflake or Databricks-based cloud data platforms.
  • Proven history of leveraging and growing existing client bases, organic business development responsibilities, i.e., growing new accounts/clients from the ground up.
