About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned consulting leader to drive growth and success in our Data & Analytics practice. As a key member of our team, you will be accountable for setting the strategic direction of the practice by delivering exceptional results in sales, recruiting, account management, and business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Practice Building: Drive overall growth of the practice area through business development, talent management, delivery work oversight, and thought leadership.
  • Team & Individual Development: Maximize team performance through effective team approaches that increase productivity and job satisfaction.
  • Engagement Management: Manage engagement risk, project economics, accounts receivable, deliverable content, and ensure buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client.
  • Identify opportunities for growth and maturation of Data and Analytics offerings.
  • Provide oversight and governance of all sold and managed Data and Analytics projects.
  • Drive business development with proper information, tools, and subject matter expertise to sell engagements within the offering.
  • Build and develop relationships/partnerships with local market teams, aligning on sales pursuits, resource capacity, and capabilities.
  • Develop relationships with technology partners and own joint sales pursuits.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience (14+ years) in consulting management, specifically in data and analytics strategy, architecture, and solution delivery resulting in clear client business outcomes.
  • P&L experience from a comparably sized consulting firm.
  • Broad data and analytics experiences across data strategy, data architecture, data governance, visualizations, AI/ML, legacy data platforms, and modern cloud data stack.
  • Deep expertise in defining, architecting, and delivering modern cloud data stack-based data and analytical solutions on AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud, as well as Snowflake or Databricks-based cloud data platforms, and other related platforms and services part of the modern data stack.
  • Proven history of leveraging and growing existing client base; organic business development responsibilities, i.e., growing new accounts/clients from the ground up.
  • A demonstrated track record of successful consulting engagement management experience in Agile/Scrum environments, including directing and growing other staff members and having a major role in managing and interfacing with senior-level client executives.
