Job Title: Chief Data Strategy Officer

Location: Infosys Singapore & Australia

Salary:$180,000 - $220,000 per year

About the Role:

The Enterprise Architect is a crucial member of the Infosys Singapore & Australia team, responsible for setting the strategy for the organization's data architecture and providing technical architecture direction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Architecture: Design and implement an enterprise-wide data strategy that supports current and future business needs.
  • Collaboration: Work with Business, Data Management Office, and internal and external IT stakeholders to ensure the enterprise data strategy and associated implementation adds value to the business.
  • Governance: Lead data architecture governance forums and provide subject matter expert input to architecture decisions.
  • Roadmap: Manage a holistic roadmap of architecture change initiatives across the bank, coordinating requirements across different initiatives.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise for change initiatives, working with solution architects, technical architects, and business product owners.
  • Delivery: Work with IT to understand target architecture delivery dependencies and align delivery timeframes.
  • Data Governance: Work with IT and the Data Management Office to ensure requirements for data governance, quality, metadata management, mastering, and security are delivered.
  • Strategic Initiatives: Be a key stakeholder and advisor in all new strategic data initiatives and ensure alignment to the enterprise-wide data strategy.
  • Integrity: Build a framework of principles to ensure data integrity across the business.
  • Architecture Artefacts: Build and maintain appropriate Enterprise Architecture artefacts, including Entity Relationship Models, Data dictionary, taxonomy to aid data traceability.
  • Solution Architects: Provide technical oversight to Solution Architects in creating business-driven solutions adhering to the enterprise architecture and data governance standards.
  • Data Security: Be an advocate of data security principles and ensure appropriate security practices are embedded in any data strategy.
  • Data Standards: Be an active contributor to how the bank evolves Data Governance practices and influence the adoption of data standards.
  • KPIs: Develop key performance measures for data integration and quality.
  • Third-Party Suppliers: Support third-party data suppliers in developing specifications that are congruent with the Enterprise data architecture.
  • Team Growth: Plan for team growth considering the skills required within the data architecture team and assist in resourcing decisions.
  • Consistency: Drive consistent standards and approaches throughout the team, building an environment that encourages continuous improvement and innovation.

Requirements:

  • Progressive Solutions: Extensive experience of developing progressive information management solutions and end-to-end development life-cycle support and SDLC processes.
  • Leadership: Experience of leading a team including architects and subject matter experts.
  • Information Management: Established experience delivering information management solutions to large numbers of end users.
  • Enterprise Data Warehouse: Extensive experience in architecting and implementing enterprise data warehouse, Master data Management, data integration, BI & analytics, content management, and data management platforms.
  • Data Strategies: Experience of creating and implementing data strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Industry Best Practices: Strong knowledge of industry best practices around data architecture in both cloud-based and on-prem solutions.
  • Data Warehousing: A comprehensive understanding of data warehousing and data transformation (extract, transform, and load) processes and the supporting technologies such as Amazon Glue, EMR, Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, other analytics products.
  • Data Modelling: Excellent problem-solving and data modelling skills, including normalisation, OLAP/OLTP principles, and entity relationship analysis.
  • Data Entities: Experience of mapping key Enterprise data entities to business capabilities and applications.
  • Data Lineage: A strong knowledge of horizontal data lineage from source to output.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentational skills, confident, and methodical approach, and able to work within a team environment.
