Job Summary

We are seeking a Chief Technology and Data Officer to join our leadership team. As a key member of the executive team, you will be responsible for the strategic leadership of our information technology, strategy, and operations. Your primary focus will be to ensure that technology supports the achievement of our strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership to the Information Technology department (circa 60 staff)
  • Lead the technology transformation across the organisation
  • Establish trust and credibility through the provision of advice to the CEO, Executive Leadership team, and Senior Leaders
  • Identify opportunities to optimise business operations through technology
  • Drive cutting-edge processes and operational efficiencies
  • Lead the development and delivery of strategic priorities
  • Ensure the IT and Digital strategies are future-oriented, customer-centric, and aligned with the organisation's strategic and operational objectives

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will be a highly regarded strategic leader with significant IT/Digital Technology experience within a large, complex, customer-focused organisation. You will be innovative in your thinking and demonstrate high levels of emotional intelligence to inspire, influence, and enhance capability across your team. You will operate as a collaborative business partner with your internal stakeholders.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

A tertiary qualification in technology or business, and proven experience leading a technology services function, will be highly regarded. You will have well-developed business acumen, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to influence across the organisation. Your solutions-focused approach and 'make it happen' mindset will be the driving force behind your success in this important and exciting role.
