Workforce managers play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of residential care facilities.
About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced workforce manager to join our team and contribute to our mission of providing compassionate, high-quality care to our residents.
- The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in workforce planning and roster management, with a proven track record of developing and implementing process improvements.
- They will possess strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and lead high-performing teams and make decisions that balance commercial outcomes with customer experience.
- A strong understanding of relevant legislation and regulations, including the Aged Care Quality Standards and the Fair Work Act, is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement workforce planning strategies to ensure optimal resource allocation and efficient rostering systems.
- Manage and review quarterly care minutes for each Residential Care location, analysing variances and occupancy rates to inform workload planning.
- Consult with stakeholders to recommend roster changes based on care minute reviews and update the workload planner accordingly.
- Identify process and compliance gaps, and implement improvements to enhance roster management and workforce planning skills within the team.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in workforce planning and roster management, preferably in residential aged care or public health sector.
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to develop, motivate and lead high-performing teams.
- Ability to make decisions that balance commercial outcomes with customer experience, while effectively mitigating risks.
- Strong understanding of relevant legislation and regulations, including the Aged Care Quality Standards and the Fair Work Act.
- Experience with workforce management software, specifically UKG Dimensions, including report generation and data analysis to monitor key performance indicators and identify improvement opportunities.
